Torbridge Veterinary Hospital has expanded from 3 vets working from premises near the pannier market in Bideford to a 10 vet practice with purpose built facilities on Caddsdown Ind Park, Clovelly Rd. Bideford and a surgery in Torrington.

We work with a wide range of animals from pets to farm animals, horses and slightly more exotic animals.

Our vets are divided into two divisions, small animals and farm /  equine. In addition to five years at veterinary college, our vets also undertake further training in their specialist areas to keep up to date with the latest developments.

The vets are backed up by an enthusiastic team of qualified and training nurses who provide 24 hr care for our in-patients, run nurse clinics and advise our clients on routine health queries.

Our dedicated receptionists are happy to answer questions and make appointments in both Bideford and Torrington.

Our facilities are a recognized veterinary hospital, approved nurse training centre and are RCVS Tier 3 accredited. This means they meet the highest standards possible at present and are independently assessed regularly to make sure these high standards are maintained.
